Standard Renault 821 engine w/ a Hermes kit and a Weber 45DCOE 13. The
head and manifold are ported 1" in each direction from the inlet gasket.
The engine is 99% ready to go except for the carb and linkage.
I have changed my mind after overhauling the Renault engine. It is really
a well engineered, extremely compact and light unit. Ideal for the Europa!!
The head cleaned up, decked .010" with valve seats cut
and ready for new valves.
- The new pistons installed on the rods just before installation
in the sleeves. Also, I had the lifters reconditioned. My homemade wet
sleeve retainers are at the right. The original car color car be seen on
the door above the pistons.
