Why We Teach:
Mat 9:37 Then he said to his disciples, "The harvest is plentiful but the workers are few. 38 Ask the Lord of the harvest, therefore, to send out workers into his harvest field."
|
2 Tim 2:15 Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.
Antioch Bible College was founded on the principle of the Great Commission as recorded in the Gospel of Matthew: Mat 28:18 And Jesus came up and spoke to them, saying, "All authority has been given to Me in heaven and on earth. 19 "Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit, 20 teaching them to observe all that I commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age." The course of study includes six quarters of classroom instruction with ten weks of field training between the third and fourth quarters. Following the sixth quarter of classroom instruction the students are sent out for six months to one year of field training under supervision of an experienced Pastor or Pastora before they are Ordained. Following sucessfull completion of their six months or more of field training the student will return for final Graduation exercises and Ordination. The student will have his or her choice concerning the organization the desire to be ordained by. After Graduation and Ordination the student will be free to follow after the calling and vision God has given them. Antioch Bible Ministries does not place any hold on the student after Graduation and Ordination. It is not the intent of Antioch Bible Ministries to build our own Kingdom , but to extend the Kingdom of God. The cirriculum is based on the Word of God. All of our staff and teachers are well qualified to teach and most are Ordained ministers who are Bible School graduates, or are well trained in the subjects they teach. The courses have been carefully selected to give the students an excellent foundation in the Word of God. In addition to Bible courses they will be taught special courses on church organization and government. We will accept students who meet the following basic requirements:
Scholarships will be available on a limited basis for those students in need of assistance. The Board of Directors of Antioch Bible Ministries, Inc. will make the determination concerning the granting of scholarships. For those students with sufficient resources to pay all or part of the cost of tuition, housing, food, and supplies a listing of fees and costs will be furnished upon request. Students will be accepted based on space availability and qualification. The final decision of acceptance rests entirely with the Board of Directors of Antioch Bible Ministries, Inc.
